My work explores personal memory and perception through the material language of painting and glass. I am interested in how images shift when filtered through transparency, reflection, and light.

By reimagining the act of viewing a painting, glass becomes both surface and threshold. a mediator through which image and perception continuously transform. The viewer does not simply look at the work but encounters it through reflection, layering, and spatial depth.

In my practice, I combine found imagery with my own drawings, re-contextualizing these fragments into new visual narratives. The final drawing is placed beneath glass and transferred using relief outliner paint, creating a tactile contour that both separates and connects image and surface.

Color, tone, and texture emerge through improvisation. This intuitive process allows freedom within structure, where control and unpredictability coexist.

Through transparency and reflection, my work invites viewers to consider how meaning forms in the space between material, image, time, and their own presence.
